THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE!/REMEMBER GOD

NKJ Genesis 1:14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;

God created the times and seasons for our benefit. Not only so we can know what day it is but to remember what God has done in our lives.

NKJ Nehemiah 4:14 And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses."

In the night

NKJ Psalm 63:6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.

In early life

NKJ Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, "I have no pleasure in them":

NKJ Ecclesiastes 12:2 While the sun and the light, The moon and the stars, Are not darkened, And the clouds do not return after the rain;

NKJ Ecclesiastes 12:3 In the day when the keepers of the house tremble, And the strong men bow down; When the grinders cease because they are few, And those that look through the windows grow dim;

NKJ Ecclesiastes 12:4 When the doors are shut in the streets, And the sound of grinding is low; When one rises up at the sound of a bird, And all the daughters of music are brought low;

NKJ Ecclesiastes 12:5 Also they are afraid of height, And of terrors in the way; When the almond tree blossoms, The grasshopper is a burden, And desire fails. For man goes to his eternal home, And the mourners go about the streets.

In times of trouble

NKJ Jonah 2:7 "When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple.

Away from your home

NKJ Zechariah 10:9 "I will sow them among the peoples, And they shall remember Me in far countries; They shall live, together with their children, And they shall return.

It is our duty to remember God and His instructions.

NKJ Isaiah 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent,

NKJ Isaiah 62:7 And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

NKJ 1 Timothy 4:6 If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

NKJ 2 Peter 1:12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.

NKJ 2 Peter 3:1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),

NKJ 2 Peter 3:2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,

NKJ 2 Peter 3:3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

NKJ 2 Peter 3:4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

NKJ 2 Peter 3:5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

NKJ 2 Peter 3:6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

NKJ 2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

NKJ 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

NKJ 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Do you know God? It's time to know God.

NKJ 2 Corinthians 6:2 For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

FATHER GOD, I PRAY THAT YOU WOULD US TO REMEMBER YOU AT ALL TIMES.

IN JESUS NAME

AMEN.
