THE LIGHT PROMISED

NKJ Genesis 1:17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,


God gave light to the earth and to those who are obedient to him.



NKJ Job 22:28 You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.
NKJ Psalm 97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart.


Who are upright.

NKJ Psalm 112:4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.


Who are just.

NKJ Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.



Who are benevolet


NKJ Isaiah 58:8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.


To the Church of the future

NKJ Isaiah 60:20 Your sun shall no longer go down, Nor shall your moon withdraw itself; For the LORD will be your everlasting light, And the days of your mourning shall be ended.


To those who follow Jesus Christ


NKJ John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

NKJ 1 John 2:10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.


Continue to walk in the light of Jesus Christ and do all you can for him everyday.


PRAYER

FATHER GOD, I PRAY THAT WE MAY CONTINUE TO BE OBEDIENT, UPRIGHT, JUST, AND SHOW GOOD WILL TO OTHERS AS WE SHINE OUR LIGHTS IN A DARK WORLD. FOR YOU ARE THE LIGHT THAT GIVES US THE LIGHT TO HELP OTHERS FIND THEIR WAY TO YOU.
